Un Documentario Passione

Un scorso sabato, abbiamo visto un documentario si chiama Passione. Siamo andati al "Film Doc" dell'Università del Chicago. Passione non è un documentario tradizionale, ma una celebrazione. Il film viene direttamente dal popolo. John Turturro è stato il regista del documentario. Prima il film abbiamo cenato in Greektown al ristorante Parthenon. Per un'antipasto, abbiamo avuto saganaki (fiammeggiante formaggio). Poi abbiamo avuto l'insalata di Corfù. Quando siamo andati in Grecia, abbiamo visitato l'isola di Corfù, e aveva un meraviglioso pasto nella stessa isola. Poi abbiamo avuto costolette d'agnello. Abbiamo anche condiviso una caraffa di vino rosso: Roditis. Dopo il film, siamo andati a Paciugo Gelato per il gelato.

[Last Saturday, we saw a documentary film called Passione. We went to the "Doc Films" at the University of Chicago. Passione is not a traditional documentary but a celebration. The film comes directly from the people. John Turturro was the director of the documentary. Although we loved the music of Naples, Naples is not a place we want to visit when we go to Italy.

Before the movie we had dinner in Greektown. For an antipasto, we had saganaki (flaming cheese). Then we had the Corfu salad. When we traveled to Greece, we visited the island of Corfu, and had a wonderful meal on that island. Then we had lamb spareribs. We also shared a carafe of red wine: roditis.
